Take A Break From Your Loan Payment and Skip-A-Pay!

The Skip-A-Pay program at CME lets you keep cash in your pocket by skipping a loan payment when you need it most! Members can Skip-A-Pay on their personal, auto, RV, boat, or motorcycle loan anytime throughout the year.

HOW TO SKIP-A-PAY

IMPORTANT TO NOTE

  • Interest will continue to accumulate on the loan during the skipped month, but no late fee will be charged.

  • Skip-A-Pay will extend the maturity date of the loan, and based on the size of the loan balance, the interest may be greater than the amount of the next regular loan payment.

  • If your loan is currently paid by ACH (Automatic) payment transaction from another financial institution, you need to contact them to stop the transaction for that particular month.

  • Only two skips are allowed every 12 months and cannot be consecutive months.

  • The loan must be open for at least 365 days and must be current to be eligible.

  • Not all loans may be eligible for Skip-A-Pay, but our staff will work diligently to find solutions for your needs.

Step 1:

On the app's main menu, the 'Skip Payment' option is highlighted, which is located under the 'Payments' section in the left-hand menu.

Step 2:

The 'Skip payment' screen displays a selection for the PLATINUM MASTERCARD with a balance of $490.34 due on 08/25/2020. A blue 'Next' button is at the bottom.

Step 3:

The screen asks the user to select an account to pay the loan payment skip fee. The user has selected 'CME PREMIUM PLUS CHECKING' with a balance of $63.04. The blue 'Next' button is shown at the bottom.

Step 4:

The summary screen confirms the skipped payment. It shows the original payment date of 08/25/2020 and the new payment date of 09/25/2020. The fee for skipping the payment is $35.00, which will be charged from the selected checking account. There is a warning that the loan maturity date will be extended, and interest will still accumulate. A blue 'Agree' button is at the bottom.

Step 5:

The final screen confirms the skipped payment for the PLATINUM MASTERCARD. It shows the next due date as 09/25/2020. A blue 'Done' button is at the bottom.
